I'M RUNNING THE BOSTON MARATHON FOR CHARITY!! Please help me support this amazing cause!
Founded by Paul Newman in 1988, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families throughout the Northeast, free of charge. It’s a community that celebrates the fun, friendship and spirit of childhood where every kid can “raise a little hell.”
My close friend Courtney and her husband Nick have been volunteering for Hole in the Wall Gang camp's affilate camp, Camp Boggy Creek, for many years. Even now that we live in Boston, Nick continues to fliy down to Florida to serve as a camp counselor every summer.
Last year, I had the privilege of supporting Nick as he joined Team Hole in the Wall for their 2012 Boston Marathon fundraiser. Watching him push himself physically to train for and run 26.2 miles to raise money for a cause that he pours his heart into each year made me want to do the same. The Boston Marathon team allows individuals to give themselves both physically and emotionally to the children of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and I couldn't imagine a better use of my time and energy.
This will be my FIRST MARATHON! I'm very excited to be in the position to take a momentous achievement in my own personal life and make it bigger than myself.
MY GOAL IS TO RAISE $5000 BY APRIL 1, 2013. That's just 50 donations of $100! I know I can get there with your help.
I hope that you will support me in my efforts! Every dollar helps!
