The men and women HOPE serves commit hundreds of hours to building their dreams. Will you support our team to run 26.2 miles and enable hundreds more HOPE students and graduates to get back to work?
The New York City unemployment rate (8.3%) is nearly one full percentage point higher than the national rate of 7.4%. Without a high school diploma, conviction histories and long-term unemployment, the rate increases to up to 40%.
Team HOPE runs to fuel low-income New Yorkers to beat the statistics.
The HOPE Program empowers New Yorkers living in poverty to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment and career advancement. HOPE provides work readiness training and job retention and advancement support to our community members with the greatest barriers to entering the workforce.
Our comprehensive approach enables us to consistently achieve results among the strongest in the industry, notably 72% job placement, 91% 90-day job retention and 74% one-year job retention.
