EVENT: Brooklyn Half Marathon 2012
EVENT DATE: May 17, 2012
Hello family, friends and supporters,
As a team Power-gy member, I am very excited to run in the 2012 NYRR "5 Borough Series: Brooklyn Half Marathon" under the Hope program.
Running has become my passion. This is my first half marathon, and having it in Brooklyn means a lot to me (my hometown)! It also means a lot to my health, fitness and wellness supplement brand, Power-gy (Brooklyn is our headquarters)!
How do you come into place? Support, also known as a donation. $500 is the goal! Any amount helps and would be HIGHLY appreciated! More importantly, your donation will contribute to the Hope program.
So push NOW, so when you refuel AFTER, you can maintain FOREVER. Sorry, Power-gy terminology. It will make more sense at www.power-gy.com
Share my page on your social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)

TEAM HOPE PROGRAM
Disadvantaged New Yorkers dedicate hundreds of hours to rebuilding their lives through training and employment. Together, we will run hundreds of miles to support them.
For nearly 30 years, HOPE has transformed the lives of New Yorkers living in poverty by giving them the skills and confidence to get good jobs and climb the career ladder. Macquarie has been a proud partner of HOPE, providing jobseekers with mock one-on-one interviews, career advice and encouragement, interview clothing, and on-the-job training. Now, we're logging miles to change hundreds more lives!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Team Hope Program has committed to raise money for HOPE, and we need your help so that we - and HOPE students - can cross the finish line. You can make a tax-deductible donation to our team by clicking on the “Donate” button! No donation is too small.
"I wish I could hang a banner in Times Square to let everyone know how HOPE has changed my life. Before I came here, I felt like I hit a wall. Now I have a full-time job in a field that I love - and a brighter future!" –Edwin.
