My first marathon in 2010 taught me that it's easy to sign up for the things in life that have little to no risk. Anyone can do that. But to live a life worth telling stories about… for that you have to DO HARD THINGS. I learned the power behind spurring each other on. That we can’t do life on our own-that even if we could do it on our own, it wouldn’t be half as enjoyable... and that giving up is easy, keeping together takes work.
This year's 2011 marathon will be about each of those things and more, I'm sure, but most importantly it will be about HOPE. To run on behalf of HopeSprings is a privilege and a challenge to engage in fight against HIV/AIDS with what you've got: your own body. Let's get movin'! :)
