BENEFITING: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Mileage Tracker: 203
Sunday, September 9, I ran 19 miles. Without stopping (except to fill a water bottle a few times). And I realized I'm a beast. But what if I were sick? I'd like to take advantage of my current youth and health to help those who have not been as lucky. I am running the full Hartford Marathon on Saturday, October 13. Please consider donating to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on my behalf, whether it is just to say, "Go Amy! (S.S.)" or because you know someone who has been personally affected. I would especially like to honor Aja & Tom.
[A lot of the 'missed days' are really cross-training with biking, swimming, and bootcamp 2x/week, plus running the class for my high school students.]
Thank you for your support!

Team IN Training is the Nation’s #1 endurance sports training program and the largest fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). At LLS we're committed to funding research to help cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and related malignancies and improve quality of life for patients diagnosed with these cancers. When LLS was founded in 1949, a blood cancer diagnosis was almost always fatal. Thanks in part to innovative research funded by LLS, survival rates have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled for blood cancer patients.
