EVENT DATE Feb 20, 2016
Jake Decarolis is an 18 year old student, in his senior year at Leominster High School. A few short months ago, Jake's biggest concerns were where he should go to college, who he should ask to prom, and whether or not his SAT scores were high enough. Then, overnight...his life changed. With very little warning, he was diagnosed in September with brain cancer. The past months have been met with intense treatment, including chemotherapy and long stays at Children's Hospital in Boston. Jake's life plans were put on hold as he began courageously fighting the fight of his life. The physical, mental and emotional aspects of the diagnosis have placed an enormous strain on his family, who are struggling every day to keep their son and brother alive. We are reaching out to our amazingly supportive friends, family and neighbors in our community of Leominster and surrounding towns to please help Jake beat this nasty disease that has become his life. We are holding a benefit on February 20th at Monoosnock Country Club. We would love to pack the place with Jake's supporters and raise a ton of money to help defray his medical expenses and release one small burden from his heavy hearted parents. If you cannot attend, please consider a donation on his behalf. Thank you so much for your support!
