TWENTY SEVEN TEAMS CROSSED THE FINISH LINE!!
March 21, 2016
BENEFITING: KYLE PEASE FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: Mar 20, 2016
I'm honored to be running the Publix Half Marathon with the Kyle Pease Foundation and TEAM JAKE again this year in memory of our friend, Jake Vinson. Jake is running among the angels now, and I am so humbled to be able to offer my legs and lungs in order to share the thrill of competition and personal victory in Jake’s name…alongside his beautiful momma and a mass of truly incredible individuals. While we are hoping and praying we will be able to push our buddy from last year, Jerry Bruce, he’s having some health complications and we aren’t sure he will be healthy enough for the race. If you’ll keep our little motivator in your prayers in the coming weeks and months, he and his family (and I) would be so grateful. Be well, Jerry Bruce. If I somehow haven’t yet told you about the Kyle Pease Foundation, here’s the super short story. The foundation was founded by brothers Kyle and Brent Pease and supports individuals of all ages with various disabilities to realize their athletic hopes and dreams. They promote awareness and inclusion, they are about the nicest gentlemen you’ve ever met and together, they are truly changing lives right here in our community and so far beyond. Take a look. Big, BIG thanks for your consideration!! And if you’re in the Atlanta area on March 20, we’d all love it if you’d come out, see what we are all about and cheer us on...you won’t regret it!
