THE STORY:

Jefferson SPCA wrote -

Team Jefferson SPCA is raising funds to bring awareness to heart worms and treat heart worms in the pets that are under our care. Join our team to help us on our mission.  Each year Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter receives hundreds of heartworm positive dogs.  Please help us save their lives but donating to the cause.  No amount is too small.

Rex was a stray picked up by the Jefferson SPCA.  He received free treatment from the Jefferson SPCA as part of the adoption process. It cost $550 to successfully treat him. Please help with a donation so that this costly but necessary treatment can continue to be offered free of charge to adopting families.
