BENEFITING: SMALL CELL OVARIAN CANCER FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: May 15, 2016
On February 1st 2016, we lost our dear friend Jessica Boskocevic Gogul, age 28, to Small Cell Ovarian Cancer. Jess was a vibrant and unique soul, known to light up every room she entered. She is survived by her loving family and adoring husband of just 16 months, Greg. Small Cell Ovarian Cancer is a rare, highly malignant tumor that affects mainly young women. Small cell ovarian cancer is very aggressive, grows very quickly, and the median age of diagnosis is just 24 years old. Team Jess consisting of Ryan Jones, Tiffany Jones, Allison Forsyth, and Jay Gantt, will be running the Cleveland Marathon on May 15th 2016 to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer, make information about small cell ovarian cancer more readily available to future patients and their families, and to fund research into this dreadful disease. "26.2 miles in her shoes." We are running with purpose, for Jess, Greg, and the Small Cell Ovarian Cancer Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit ( http://www.smallcellovarian.org/ ). Your donations are tax deductible. Please hit the "DONATE To This Fundraiser" button at the right, and support our fight!!
