BENEFITING: JEWISH FAMILY & CHILDRENS SERVICES
EVENT DATE: Oct 07, 2012
For more than 150 years, Jewish Child and Family Services (JCFS) has brought support and safety net services to families of all backgrounds. From its earliest days feeding the hungry at an outdoor soup kitchen and providing a safe home for children with no place to turn, JCFS has maintained its commitment to helping those in need. JCFS provides services at 16 locations across the Chicago area through 30 programs including counseling, special education, services for individuals with disabilities, child welfare, and community programs. Each year, JCFS helps “redefine what’s possible” for more than 30,000 individuals.
With your help, the inaugural JCFS marathon team will surpass our collective goal. 18 runners. 18 volunteers. $18,000. With your help, JCFS will open eyes, build community, and extend services to families in need.
JCFS is a partner in serving our community, supported by the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation.
