BENEFITING: RadiatingHope: Advancing Cancer Care Globally
EVENT DATE: May 13, 2016
Did You Know, In Africa…
- Cancer kills more people than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and Tuberculosis COMBINED.
- Only 20% of cancer patients survive to 5 years (compare to 80% in the U.S.)
- For 11 million people in the Moshi region of Tanzania there is no cancer center and zero treatment options.
We Need Your Help!
Please support us in this effort by making a tax-deductible donation to Radiating Hope. We can't do it alone!
What We Are Doing…
In partnership with the organization Radiating Hope; we are working to raise the funds and awareness needed to establish a cancer center at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC) in Moshi, Tanzania. To this end, we are joining a team of mountain climbers and healthcare professionals in Spring 2016 to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak.
