BENEFITING: Team Joseph Inc
Joseph Penrod and I will be swimming, biking and running as a team in the Detroit Triathlon on August 16th to raise awareness and funds to help battle the disease he's been fighting so valiantly, Duchenne. Joseph was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy when he was 5 years old. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is the most common degenerative genetic muscle disease in boys. As most boys are growing stronger and gaining independence, boys with Duchenne are losing muscle function and mobility. We can’t always decide the circumstances that we’ve been handed, but we can decide how we handle them. Giving rise to hope through action, Team Joseph works on behalf of all young boys and their families who have been affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. We can’t do it alone – we invite you to join the team! Defeating Duchenne together, we will change and save lives. Joseph and I would greatly appreciate your donation to help fight Duchenne. Joseph and I can't wait to get to the finish line at the Detroit Triathlon!
