BENEFITING: Hope Water Project
ORGANIZER: Hope Water Project
EVENT: Assenmacher 100
EVENT DATE: Aug 21, 2016
Hey Friends & Family! I recently signed up for a 100 mile cycling race! I'm riding in the Assenmacher 100 event on August 21, 2016. A little crazy, I know, but there’s a very important reason I’m doing this. I am riding with Hope Water Project and dedicating my race and the money I raise to helping provide clean water to communities in Africa. I’m excited about the challenge and opportunity, but I know that training with this purpose in mind will keep me going.
Over 750 million people in the world lack access to clean water…750 million! That is almost two and a half times the population of the United States. Will you consider making a donation on my behalf to help change that fact?
Water is life…and hundreds of millions of people around the world are suffering today because they do not have access to clean water. Hope Water Project is committed to providing clean water by partnering with communities and drilling deep water wells in some of the world’s most impoverished areas. Their current project is to provide 1,000 new wells for the Pokot tribe in northwestern Kenya.
My goal is to raise $1,000. I really appreciate all your prayers and support. Check the sidebar for more information. Click on the blue Donate button to make a donation to this life-saving project.
