THE STORY:

Anatomy, Art, Beauty & Truth...these are a unique list of qualities. The synthesis of these features and the beginning of modern observational and research science is marked by the publication of De Humani Corporis Fabrica, in 1543 by Andreas Vesalius.
The Vesalius Trust was established in 1988 with the goal of providing leadership for the advancement of education and research in visual communication for the health sciences.
Each year, the Trust supports: scholarships, research grants, continuing professional education, and an international recognition program for exceptional contributions to medical education.
This year, Team Killpack has assembled a dream team of some of the most amazing medical illustration talent on the planet...an international team of living legends and rising stars. Our final project, a 24x36 inch work made up of 54 individual images will be auctioned off at the annual meeting of the Association of Medical Illustrators to raise additional funds. We'll even reveal a few details along the way so donate now, join the fun and see what we're up to!
