THE STORY:

Oh hey there.  My name is Milton.  If it wasn't for Kitten Rescue, I most likely wouldn't be here today to tell you why they are a great group and why you should support Team Kitten Rescue and specifically my human- Diane McKain. She has been a volunteer with Kitten Rescue for a while now, spending time with all the kitties that reside at the groups Sanctuary.  That's where we met. I had been dropped off at my vets and just left there.  Well the vet took me to a shelter, the shelter took me to a Best Friends adoption day, and that's where Kitten Rescue found me and took me in. If they hadn't been there... well I hate to think what might have happened to me!  Instead I'm sitting here chillaxing in front of the fireplace, harrassing my fur brother and sisters and being very much loved.

Not all of the kitties that Kitten Rescue takes in are as lucky as me.  Some have some serious medical issues that make them difficult to adopt. Some have personalities that make them a tough match.  Fortunately Kitten Rescue has their Sanctuary, where kitties like these can live out their lives.  I've posted a few pictures here of some of my buddies at the Sanctuary - Rudy and Bitsy.  They're featured in the video too!

It takes money to run any animal rescue organization.  And the wonderful Sanctuary that Kitten Rescue has for the tough to adopt kitties is old and needs a lot of work.  I hope you'll consider making a pledge for Team Kitten Rescue as they run the LA Marathon and the LA Marathon Big 5K.

Thanks

Milton

What is Kitten Rescue?  Kitten Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that was founded in 1997, and that has now grown into one of the most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. Each year, our volunteers place over 1,000 cats and dogs into new homes. Since our inception, we have placed over 12,000 animals into loving homes!
