Welcome to my fundraising page for the Kitten Rescue!
July 16, 2007, was a very special day. It was the day our new cat George arrived. We had just adopted him from the Kitten Rescue and were beyond excited to welcome him to our home. I will never forget the anticipation and excitement of this day.
I still remember the moment he was brought into our apartment and how he slowly and shyly crawled out of the cage starting to explore his new forever home.
For the past 4.5 years, George has been the best furry friend one can have and I could not imagine my life without him.
George was part of an abandoned litter that was taken in by volunteers of the Kitten Rescue who gave him a second shot at life.
Kitten Rescue is an amazing, solely volunteer-run organization that is devoted to placing unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens into loving forever homes.
I absolutely love cats and it breaks my heart that so many homeless cats are euthanized on a daily basis here in the city of Los Angeles. On March 18, 2012, I will run the streets of this very city for 26.2 miles in support of the Kitten Rescue and I really hope that you will contribute to my fundraiser so that the Kitten Rescue can continue its amazing work. No donation is too small.
What is Kitten Rescue? Kitten Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that was founded in 1997, and that has now grown into one of the most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. Each year, our volunteers place over 1,000 cats and dogs into new homes. Since our inception, we have placed over 10,000 animals into loving homes! [To see where the cats we save come from, please click here.]
Who are our volunteers? Kitten Rescue is comprised of dedicated volunteers who devote much of their time to helping homeless animals, while juggling their own families, jobs, and lives as best as they can! At any given time you may find them bottle feeding orphaned kittens, nursing sick dogs and cats to health, visiting high-kill shelter to save whoever possible, running back and forth to veterinary clinics, trapping feral cats for spay/neuter, feeding feral cats, taming feral kittens, rehabilitating animals with behavioral issues, taking foster animals to adoption events, or delivering animals to their forever homes.
Why sponsor Team Kitten Rescue? Because you will be helping save the lives of cats and dogs who would otherwise not have a chance. Kitten Rescue relies on donations from the public to save the animals and pay for their veterinary care. The more money we raise, the more lives we can save! So please sponsor Team Kitten Rescue today. If you know one of our team members, you can donate directly on his/her individual crowdrise page, and the amount will reflect on this page as well. Since we are a 501c3, donations made to Kitten Rescue are tax-deductible.

ON BEHALF OF THE HOMELESS CATS AND DOGS WHO YOU WILL BE HELPING SAVE, WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
