BENEFITING: HERMITAGE HOUSE YOUTH SERVICES INC
EVENT DATE: Jun 01, 2013
Our team is named in memory of KJ Carroll, a good friend of Hermitage House who died on May 16, 2010. KJ loved the work that Hermitage House does with at-risk youth. His family and friends are strongly committed to work toward our goal of building a chapel. KJ was an EUP social work major who hoped to work as a drug and alcohol counselor with young people. Although the Hermitage House has a strong youth ministry program, the young people do not have a chapel to worship and study. The mission of Hermitage House is to provide quality care TODAY for responsible adults TOMORROW. Our philosophy of treatment is based upon the belief that a balance between caring support and consistent discipline along with appropriate counseling and therapeutic interventions can make a difference in the life of a troubled youth.
