BENEFITING: PUG RESCUE OF NEW ENGLAND
My name is Leena, I came to PRONE because my family didn't have time for me and I was always kept in the basement. PRONE paid for me to get all my shots, a heartworm test and to get spayed. Two weeks after I was spayed I became lethargic and was rushed to Ocean State Veterinary Specialist. My blood pressure was so low the doctors could not get a reading. I spent the night at the hospital and was given fluids and antibiotics. By morning I was stable enough to go see Dr Strake at South Coastal Animal Health, the tests showed I had been fighting an infection before I came to PRONE. As you can imagine PRONE has spent much more on me then my adoption fee. I would like to raise money to give back to PRONE. I know if I was not given to PRONE I would have died in that basement.
