THE STORY:
Hello! I'm a 2nd year veterinary student at Cornell University and I'm going on an adventure of a lifetime this summer! This summer, I will be heading over to Lower Brule and Pine Ridge, SD with the bare necessities, camping gear, and my "doctor" supplies in order to give free veterinary care to the community and their furry companions (the four legged ones)!
I'm super excited to meet the Lakota people and to help them keep their companions healthy. During this trip, I will be preforming wellness exams, vaccinations, treatments, and assisting in surgury.
However, I will need YOUR HELP! Your donation will help me have supplies to do what is necessary to keep these animals healthy. $10 will provide vaccinations for a dog or cat. They'll never have to experience the unending bouts of diarrhea due to canine parvovirus or have difficulty breathing due to feline calicivirus. $20 will allow us to spay/neuter a dog or cat so they won't have to face starvation while trying to care for their young. Your $35 will save a puppy from dying from parvovirus and the list goes on!
Lastly, I will be eternally grateful as you will be helping me learn how to be a great veternarian. Your donation will allow me to learn from the best, the amazing veternarians who are donating their time and knowledge to make this happen.
