To our Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
The Seward Family would like to thank those of you who have previously participated or donated to Team Madeline in the Run for Sight. Last year, Team Madeline raised almost $1,000 for Delta Gamma. There were so many generous contributions for the Run including a special contribution from the entire office of OBGYN Health Partners! Madeline has been extremely fortunate to be part of the Delta Gamma Center since she was 3 months old after she was first diagnosed with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. Today, Madeline still participates in some of Delta Gamma's activities including the Grads Groups – Challenges and family events. For more information about the center, go to: www.dgckids.org.
Madeline is thriving in Kindergarten. We just met with her teachers several weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised to hear Madeline is reading (large print) and writing. She has been steadily improving her balance and overall use of her left side. She is also excelling at learning braille. She is our little miracle and we are so proud of her.
This year's Run for Sight is on Sunday, May 5th at Union Station under the train shed. Registration begins at 8:00am with the Run starting promptly at 8:30am. You can sign up for the event or just donate to a great cause at the following Team Madeline website: http://www.crowdrise.com/TeamMadeline/fundraiser/amandaseward/join (click Donate to this Fundraiser).
Thanks in advance for your donation. We hope to see you at the Run for Sight Sunday, May 5th!
Amanda, Jonathan and Madeline!
