BENEFITING: MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL
ORGANIZER: MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL
EVENT: 2013 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 15, 2013
I've signed up to run on the Mass General Hospital team in honor of my father, David Mousaw, who has been battling his second attack of agressive B-cell lymphoma and has undergone two stem cell transplants to battle the disease. My dad is a pediatrician and has run around a dozen marathons himself. I'm hopeful that I will be able to make a difference in the fight against kids' cancer and help some of the very same kids my dad has treated over the years. The slogan, One Step at a Time is very fitting; I have already started training for the 2013 Boston Marathon and consider each step to be a little prayer for a full recovery for my father and for finding a cure. Please help by donating whatever you can afford. No donation is too small!
Thanks in advance!

The Mass General Marathon Team Fighting Kids' Cancer ... One Step at a Time was established in 1998 and has raised nearly $8 million in support of the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at MassGeneral Hospital for Children. Thanks to the generous support of John Hancock Financial and other partners, we will continue to run until we find a cure … One Step at a Time.
