We have all dealt with the loss of someone to cancer and it’s extremely important to battle this disease. Nearly 10 years ago our nephew was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma (3 years old), and it took 2 months to diagnose his illness. After several procedures, including removing a portion of his lung, researchers discovered the source of the cancer and he began an aggressive 18 months of experimental treatment. Today we are BLESSED that he is a cancer survivor, now an active teenager participating in sports and all the things a child should experience. He truly is an angel in our eyes and his experience has touched us in ways we will never forget.
We are hoping to make a difference for other children by supporting cancer research! Some of us are fortunate to have won the battle so let’s keep trying!
