The mission of The National Children's Cancer Society is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families worldwide. Whether a child has just been diagnosed, is currently in treatment or completed treatment years ago, the NCCS is there to help.  Following is a summary of who we are and what we do!

Pediatric Oncology Program lessens the family’s financial strain by helping with the ongoing, non-medical expenses associated with childhood cancer treatment.  We also help ease the emotional strain a childhood cancer diagnosis takes on families by providing a case manager who stands by a family’s side throughout their journey.

Beyond the Cure offers the most up-to-date information available on survivorship to help ensure survivors and their families know what to expect in the years ahead.  In addition to providing education and advocacy resources, the program awards college scholarships to childhood cancer survivors who have demonstrated the ability to overcome the difficult challenges of cancer with determination and motivation. A total of $102,500 was awarded to 38 childhood cancer survivors for the 2013-2014 academic year.
Global Outreach Program partners with pharmaceutical companies to distribute donated cancer treatment drugs and medical supplies around the world.  Since its inception in 1993, the program has distributed more than $292 million in medical products to 58 facilities in 41 countries around the world.
