In 2012, Team Pickett traveled to Rwanda to celebrate the 100th bridge built by Bridges to Prosperity. It was an inspiring experience, and we want to do more! Check out our pictures from our 2012 trip and the video that tells you more about Bridges to Prosperity. B2P, a non-profit organization, is hosting the First Annual Bridges & Birdies Golf Tournament at Pole Creek Golf Course in Winter Park, Colorado on Saturday September 13, 2014.
We have volunteered to raise $5000 to go towards the construction of a suspension bridge in Rulindo District, Rwanda Africa, and we are asking our friends and family to dig into their wallets and help us reach our goal. Any amount, no matter how small (or how big!) will help make this bridge become a reality.
Please help us reach our goal of $5,000 to be combined with the other teams and reach $50,000 for a new bridge!
All proceeds help fulfill the Bridges to Prosperity mission to bring safe access to an underdeveloped community. The approximately 115-foot footbridge will serve about 400 people per day and provide vial access for farmers to the marketplace, medical care, and for roughly 1500 children to a secondary school.
