We support Soundwaters' approach to environmentalism: It's serious fun!
Science education=environmental stewardship: Schools and families across our region rely on Soundwaters' hands-on education programs to get kids engaged in learning about the natural world around us. Aboard its boats, wading in the water, in its labs, and in its (usually outdoor) classrooms, participants learn the value of environmental stewardship.
Join us! Join our Flotilla team or, if you can't be there, make a donation.
Put your kayak or paddle board to good use.
Get great exercise, have a ton of fun on the water and and help SoundWaters protect Long Island Sound. Now that's a full day!
Join the Flotilla. We're hundreds of people paddling kayaks and paddle boards 4.5 miles from Cove Island Park on Stamford's east side to Boccuzzi Park on the west side. We'll start the morning with breakfast and celebrate our finish at Boccuzzi with a fun party on the beach. At the same time, we'll all be raising money to help SoundWaters introduce underserved kids to the incredible resource of Long Island Sound. These kids may live in coastal towns, but they might never actually get to the Sound without help like yours.
Paddle with friends. Paddle with family. Get your co-workers together and paddle as a company team. Just don't miss the Flotilla.
We'll see you on the water.
