I have good news for you. The families served by Project Hope are going to make it. The moms are committed to having a place of their own, a good job and to provide good care for their children. With simple kindness and support, these courageous young women turn obstacles into opportunities. Instead of being seen as victims, they become role models. The chain will be broken. Their children love and respect them. They will grow to keep strong values. And the neighborhood will be better and safer. Our neighborhood will be better and safer.
I love Project Hope. I think the richness of our ideas and results is rivaled nowhere. I believe what I see and feel at Project Hope is no less than a miracle. It is the miracle of the human spirit to answer the challenge of adversity with ardor. Value? Priceless.
I remember someone said that you should give until it hurts. I think you should give until it feels good. So please give to my run for Project Hope. I promise you it will feel really good.
