BENEFITING: LuMind Research Down Syndrome Foundation
EVENT DATE: Oct 11, 2015
The Romp for Research is one of the most important fundraisers for Down syndrome research, much of it cutting edge (like the ongoing work on Alzheimer's and Down syndrome). We have been attending and raising funds for LuMind (which used to be DSRTF, Down syndrome research and treatment foundation) since Aedan was one year's old. In addition to whatever contribution you can make, it is also an amazing event to attend with your whole family: clowns, blow up houses, food, auction items, and incredible families doing what they can to make a difference in the Down syndrome community. Please contribute, please come!
P.S. Our profile picture is of Aedan's first time going to the Romp, and he's been going every year since!
EVENT INFORMATION: Free to attend, donations very appreciated and can be made the day of the event. Sunday, October 11, 12:30-4pm at the Asphalt Green at 90th Street in Manhattan. Lots of fun things for kids and adults (bouncy house, magic, games, music, silent auction, food, crafts...the works!)
