Friends and Family,
I have run this marathon twice before, the first time because it was on my bucket list. I swore to never run another marathon again, but then a few years later my brother wanted to run and I couldn't turn down the challenge. We were supposed to also run with my brother inlaw but he got injured. His injuries and other excuses have finally been exhausted so I am once again going to run again for the last time.
I don't have anyone in my immediate family that I know of that suffered or suffers from blood cancer, but the cause is noble and deserves all the money raised to try and raise awareness and eliminate this horrible disease. The marathon itself is truly inspiring with countless service veterans and active duty miliitary running in full gear and packs. The people lining the streets to cheer you the entire 26.2 miles and volunteering time to pass out food and water during the race. Everyone involved in the race is running for some reason, and in addition to the personal challenge I would like to run this race in honor of his late father as well as all the other loved ones in my life that have passed. These people all influenced my life and made me the man I have become.
Please help me in raising money for this wonderful cause and honor those loved ones in both mine and your lives. Any donations are tax detuctible.
