BENEFITING: STRAY RESCUE OF ST LOUIS
ORGANIZER: STRAY RESCUE OF ST LOUIS
EVENT: 2015 GO! FOR A CAUSE
I am running my 12th marathon this year to support STRAY RESCUE OF ST LOUIS as part of Team Running Buddies. I did this event the first year it was part of the GO! St. Louis Marathon and am excited to do it again. Having a rescued shelter dog has enriched my life in so many ways and I love running with Cassie! If you want to help a shelter dog, please donate to my page and all of the funds will go to support the beautiful dogs waiting for homes at STRAY RESCUE. I love you all and thank you in advance.
You can also join in fun with me...

Join Team Running Buddies and run, walk, or cheerlead your way to a brighter future for homeless dogs!
The idea is simple but the rewards are huge. Team Running Buddies members commit to raising funds as participants in the GO! St. Louis 5k, Half Marathon, Marathon Relay, or Marathon. The money they raise will be used to strengthen enrichment programs and medical care at Stray Rescue, which are vital to the rehabilitation process of those we rescue and ensure an ultimately healthy environment for the dogs. Our participants are key members of a fun, energetic, and compassionate team that will enhance the lives of homeless companion animals and help more of them find loving homes!
And new to this year's team are the Buddy Boosters! This is a great way for people to be on Team Running Buddies if running just isn't their thing. As Buddy Boosters, participants will serve the important role of inspiring and cheering on those who are racing, all while raising additional funding for shelter training and enrichment programs and medical care.
And remember, stop by Stray Rescue's Pine Street shelter to jog with a dog in our Running Buddies In-Shelter Enrichment Program! This program is a fun, unique, and meaningful way to stay in shape while enriching the lives of shelter dogs as they await their loving forever homes. All participants have to do is visit Stray Rescue’s Pine Street shelter (2320 Pine Street, St. Louis, MO) and “check out” their buddy… then they’re off and running!
