Run Eagles Run!
I'm so thrilled to be running the 2014 NYC Marathon as a part of Team RWB - running to raise awareness and funds for military veterans who have served our incredible country!
It should come as no suprise to many of you that Marathon Sunday is quite possibly my favorite day of the year - or at least in New York City! I'm looking forward to the end of my long training runs touring around beautiful Brooklyn on foot and I'm excited to see many of you on First Ave... or for those who love a good marathon trek Brooklyn, Queens, and the Boogie Down BX.
I hope you will support me on race day and in my fundraising efforts for the amazing RWB organization! I'm so excited to run this race... one last time... and then hopefully retire like our favorite Yankee did this fall!
Hopefully it'll be the best yet - let the countdown continue!
Thanks in advance for your support!
The Story: The TCS New York City Marathon has become one of the world's biggest and most popular marathons, as participants run through all five boroughs of New York City (Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan & The Bronx) for 26.2 glorious miles. Team RWB Eagles & Supporters from all across the country will be participating in this year's Marathon to not only feel the glory of crossing the finish line, but to raise awareness and funds for military veterans through Team Red, White & Blue. Team RWB enriches the lives of America's veterans by connecting them to their community through physical & social activities.
