Running a marathon is really, really hard. But being a kid is even harder and rarely are there people cheering you on along the way. And there definitely are not any grab bags at the finish line filled with goodies to reward you.
Nope, being a kid can be really, really hard. That's why we're here. We're here to cheer on kids and parents and let them know they're doing great. We're here to give them the support they need to keep going. We're here to pick them up when they fall down. And we're here to run along side them through all the ups and downs (and there are a lot of ups and downs in San Francisco).
That's what we do, but we can't do it without your help. Protecting children and supporting parents requires the help of an entire community. So grab your sneakers out of your closet or your credit card out of your wallet and make a contribution.
Whether it's by showing up at the start line on July 30th or making a gift you are directly apart of a larger community that is working to better the lives of children and families in San Francisco.
Thank you :)
