I've had the privilege of knowing Ronald Stroh, his wife Kelly and their 2 kids since 2010. In 2010, Ron and I went through the police academy together. Kelly was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast CA. Countless chemo and radiation treatments has put an unfortunate financial strain on the family. From day 1, Kelly has been fighting and pushing back and she will continue to do so until it goes into remission completely. Ron is a police officer working part time with 3 local departments just to be able to put food on the table. Originally I came up with the idea and wanted to sell Team Stroh wristbands to show my support and to assist financially. Although I am still doing so, after doing a few Spartan races, meeting and talking with people, Team Stroh to me is much more than just selling something. It is giving others a realization and understanding that just because you may have a setback in life; no matter how small or big, you can overcome anything if you just believe it. "Here's the truth, Your situation is never permanent. It's what you make it. Life isn't solid, it's fluid. It changes...."
