BENEFITING: Stand Up To Cancer
ORGANIZER: Stand Up To Cancer
Once you start feeding hope, anything is possible. Any race could be a life-changing event and I have decided to run the NYC marathon for the Stand Up to Cancer organization, as it will be a lifesaving event.
Cancer and I have had a terrible past and I am not a big fan of it and nor is cancer a fan of mine or my family or friends. So, this time I have decided I am going to be a step ahead of Cancer and try to find ways to completely erase it from all our lives. Ahh! I wish I was a doctor or something but I am not and I am no jimmy Neutron .So, I am just going to run this marathon, raise money and support the people who have dedicated their lives in finding the cure for Cancer.
By running this marathon and raising money through your help and generous donations, the Stand up to Cancer team will be able to support its Cancer research centers and will help save lives from every cancer in every community. And I'm hoping you'll support me in my efforts. We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails. Cancer is not racist like most of us, so get your check ups done on time and stand up to Cancer.
After losing more than 4 loved ones to cancer, I have had enough of this life threatening disease. It is still very difficult for me to talk about the loved ones I lost to cancer but this year I decided to run the marathon in the memory of all those brave and courageous souls.
I am running in the memory of my uncles, my aunt, my angel, my grandmother. I am running for my best friend, for my family, for cherry, for loveraj, for all the people who have been touched by Cancer and for all the people, who are currently in the fight.
Some people see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope. I am hoping that you all are the latter ones.
This one's for you sunu:*
