Stand Up To Cancer wrote -

Cancer kills 1,500 Americans every day.  That’s one person every minute.   But we can change these staggering statistics if we stand up to cancer TOGETHER.

That’s why Team Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) is rallying supporters to raise funds for cancer research by participating in their favorite races.  Whether you are walking a 5K, biking in a century race, or running a marathon for Team SU2C, your involvement enables collaboration among the best and the brightest in the cancer research community to accelerate the pace of groundbreaking research that can get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives.  For more information about SU2C, please visit www.standup2cancer.org.

Registration is free.  All you have to do is set up your own personalized fundraising page on Crowdrise.  SU2C will provide you with a race team member toolkit, a list of races across the country, promotions to the SU2C shop and official race team gear.  Join the movement!  For more information on Team SU2C, visit standup2cancer.org/raceteams.

This is where the end of cancer begins.

Good luck Wayne - this helped me when I did the London Marathon. When you hit your wall round about the 17/18 mile mark remember that your body is a machine and it will adapt to any situation you tell it to xx 5 years ago
