Over the past six years, Run Lucky has grown into a must-attend event for all ages. From the the bagpipe players at the start line to the green beer at the finish line, Run Lucky is the ultimate way to experience St. Patrick’s Day in Oklahoma City, all while helping to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Run Lucky kicks off at 1:30 PM with the Mission Mile Fun Run, and then continues at 2:00 PM with the start of the 5K race. Following the race, participants who are 21+ are invited to enjoy a green beer at our finish line party. Awards and a costume contest are held around 3:00 PM. Run Lucky is brought to you by Friends of LLS, a small 501(c)3, made up dedicated volunteers that are passionate about finding a cure not only for blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma but ALL cancers. We have no paid staff and our overhead is less than $500 per year. All proceeds from Run Lucky benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Oklahoma.
