Come join us in raising money for to find a cure for Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma, a rare form of liver cancer.
Our team is inspired by Tahnee, my wonderful niece, who was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar just three months shy of graduating from college. Amazingly, Tahnee has not only fought her own battle against Fibrolamellar, she has now become a support for others fighting their own battles.
We are trying match her example by doing our part to increase awareness of Fibrolamellar and increase research funding to find a cure for this disease.
Because Fibrolamellar only effects 200 people worldwide, opportunities for clinical trials are few. Research is the most important thing we can do. We might be just $1 away from buying the petri dish that could possibly change the outcome of the fight. Your support will make a huge difference.
Please join the fight by sponsoring one of our team members. No donation is too small. (ok, there is a $10 minimum to process a donation, but that's just how the site works). Or, if you'd prefer, come run with team Tahnee and raise some money with Team Tahnee.
On 9/27, the Hamptons Marathon is still accepting registrations for the 5K only.
0n 10/5, the Grete's Great Gallop in Manhattan is accepting registrations for the Half marathon (13.1 Miles). Join Brigid and Kelcie as they run for Team Tahnee.
If you can't make these races, but want to join the team. Please do. Set up a course in the neighborhood and walk or run for Team Tahnee.
