Hi Everyone~ My name is Amy Steckdaub, and yoga literally saved my life. It helped me heal, find inner peace, get deeper in touch with myself .. and it helped me transform my life. I've joined the Warriors for Healing Movement because yoga science has proven to be incredibly effective in helping our veterans cope with PTSD. This is a powerful way to give back to those who have given so much. Having taught yoga to veterans participating at Intensive Inpatient and Outpatient Programs in the Temecula Valley I have seen the healing effects of yoga in recovery. Be a part of the movement, join the team or make a donation, any amount counts... Together we truly will make a difference and be the change we seek in the world.
On June 28th @ 1pm this movement will go national - live streamed from coast to coast - when over 600+ Yogis, service groups, spiritual centers, veterans and military supporters join together on the idyllic Windsor Lawn of the historic Hotel del Coronado overlooking the Pacific Ocean in a 90-minute Warriors for Healing Yoga Celebration of Service led by Bhava Ram, with music by Steve Gold and special guest performers.
Join us as we gather together as one in the service of others, joining hands, opening our hearts, and giving back to those who have given so much. Selfless Service is a centerpiece of human kindness and compassion that flows through all spiritual practices and all cultures, reminding us that we are all in this together. As we lift others up, we lift ourselves to greater heights, and in our way we help to heal the world.
Proceeds raised by your efforts go directly to support programs produced by Give Back Yoga Foundation and Connected Warriors, both national foundations providing Yoga science and other healing services to our veterans and those suffering from PTSD.
