Dear friends and family members,
As you know that Tiny has been placed at Boston Higashi for the last two years. She has made tremendous progress. From barely walk, she can now jog two miles daily. From not being to recognize how others feel, she can now be able (1) to cry after saying good bye to her cousins, (2) to sign "I am sorry" when doing something that made mom upset, (3) to sign "I love you" when mommy put her on the bus every morning etc.
The most meaningful thing she did this past week was to take well care of mommy by asking mommy not to sit in front of the screen at night. Waking up during the night, seeing mommy still sits in front of her laptop, she quickly pulled the blanket and pillow down to mommy's bed, pointed to laptop and signed "all done", then pointed to the pillow and signed "sleep"... I was in tear. My Tiny is physically, intellectually and emotionally growing.
Every small progress she made is giant motivation for me to continue to do what I am doing.
However, I can't do such without her wonderful dedicated and committed teachers and staff at Boston Higashi together with all support near and far.
Thanks to my friend, Julie Coppenrath, who organizes this race, Tiny and I will run to raise fund for Boston Higashi school as a way to continue to believe, to challenge and together Tiny will flourish.
Greatly appreciate any donation friends and family can do to grow Tiny's team.
Any amount counts, including your time volunteering at the event.
