So I survived my first marathon last year, and I'm ready to go again!
Training for the big race really helped me deal with my depression, so I'm setting the bar even higher this year.
This time around I am running in honor of Simon and Joey Ramone, my two cats I adopted from Tree House.
Simon went through months of procedures at the shelter to heal his severe frostbite. He lost most of his toes, part of a foot, most of his tail, and his ear tips.
Joey Ramone suffers from pancreatitis, diabetes, kidney failure, skin cancer, and high blood pressure. His health is being closely monitored and he is considered to be in hospice care.
Here are the planned races:
Shamrock Shuffle- March 29th -completed!
Solider Field 10 Mile- May 23rd -completed!
Ready to Run 20 miler- Sept 20th-completed!
Bank of America Chicago Marathon Oct. 11th -registered!
Race of the Dead - Oct. 31st- registered!
Disney World Marathon!!!!- Jan. 10th 2016 -registered!
Yup! 2 marathons!!
I am so excited to represent Tree House at these races. Thank you for all your support. This money go towards helping stray cats get loving homes!!
