Team Tucker Go!!
Organized by: Judd Helstrom
Tucker Judd Helstrom is a 9-year old boy that loves hockey, baseball, hunting and playing with friends. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in November 2015. He will be in-patient 50% of the next 9 months at the University of MN Children’s Masonic hospital for chemotherapy. Tucker recently had his right leg amputated above his knee to remove the primary cancer tumor. Throughout his diagnosis and the significant physical pain he has endured due to his cancer, he has been incredibly brave and has remained a committed sports fan, watching every game he possibly can from the TV in his hospital room. We are hopeful that following the next 9 months of chemotherapy and additional surgeries, Tucker will resume playing sports himself, and be able to return to school next year full-time. Tucker will eventually be fitted for a prosthetic leg where we are hopeful and confident he will be able to lead a normal life!
