BENEFITING: UNIVERSITY KIDNEY RESEARCH ORGANIZATION
EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
Andrew McMahon, kidney researcher and director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at USC, will be running the marathon to support UKRO and the new USC/UKRO Kidney Research Center (KRC) at the Keck School of Medicine. The KRC, co-founded by USC and UKRO in 2012, aspires to be a premier center at the national level with both basic and applied research programs. The center has long been a dream for UKRO, which has been raising significant dollars to fund cutting-edge kidney research, educational symposia, and kidney research fellowships since its inception in 2002.
