90 degrees at the end of September? Seriously?
September 25, 2017
I've hit my fundraising goal twice -- thank you -- so why stop now?
Running the NYC Marathon has been a bucket list item of mine for nearly 2 decades. After losing my dad in 2015 I have tried to seize each moment that comes my way and live life with more meaning and gratitutde. When the opportunity to run for Team Unicef presented itself I thought it was the perfect combination of accomplishing a personal goal while doing something good for others. When you add in the fact that my dad worked tirelessly and proudly for UNICEF for nearly 40 years it made the decision to run for TEAM UNICEF an absoulte no brainer. I am grateful to have a supportive family and my kids are my greatest cheerleaders. Let's do this!
UNICEF does whatever it takes to save and protect the world's most vulnerable children. Forty years ago, UNICEF figured out that promoting simple, low-cost interventions like hand washing and breastfeeding could save millions of lives. Undaunted by war or geography, UNICEF delivers.
Members of Team UNICEF NYC have committed to each raise a minimum of $3,500, in support of UNICEF's work worldwide.
I hope that you will consider supporting me as I run to accomplish a personal goal in honor of my dad that will ultimately do good for children around the world during a time where our world needs unity more than ever.
With love and gratitude,
