I'm so excited to run the New York City marathon with my lifelong friend, Sara Poponak, to benefit team UNICEF! Running a marathon has been a "life goal" of mine, and it's really now or never! Sara and I both have two very young children and have committed to finding the time to train up to the 26.2 mile race on November 5th. Neither of us are competitive runners, and this will certainly be the biggest physical challenge we have ever taken on!! The race feels so meaningful to me because our children have the opportunity to grow up with healthy food, good healthcare, and clean water. I'm honored to be raising money for team UNICEF to help provide other children around the world with these same comforts.
UNICEF does whatever it takes to save and protect the world's most vulnerable children. Forty years ago, UNICEF figured out that promoting simple, low-cost interventions like hand washing and breastfeeding could save millions of lives. Undaunted by war or geography, UNICEF delivers.
Please join me in helping children all over the world by donating money to my team!! I'm putting my all into completing this marathon for children all over the world.
