BENEFITING: WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
EVENT DATE: May 26, 2013
Mileage Tracker: 300
Hello friends! My name is Christian Bone. In 2006 I was deployed to Iraq with the 101st Airborne (AAslt) Division as an infantry soldier. I was wounded in combat when a roadside bomb (IED) exploded under the HUMVEE I was driving. I've been very lucky. With the help and support of my family, friends, the military, and the VA, I've successfully recovered from the trauma of that experience. Not all wounded soldiers are as lucky as I am. In an effort to help my fellow veterans, I will be running the 2013 Buffalo Marathon to raise money to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Just click on the donate button in the upper right hand corner of this page. You can donate as little as $10, but every little bit helps. For more information on how this charity helps our nation's heroes, please visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org/. Thanks to everyone who donated!
