"The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is the dog."
In March 2010 I adopted my best friend from Wright Way. My life was forever changed when she found her forever home!
On October 2nd, a school bus crashed through the front of Wright-Way Rescue in Niles, Illinois. Fortunately, no one was on the school bus and all volunteers and pets were safe. After 10 years of placing over 15,000 pets in homes, they found themselves homeless. However, after months of dedication and support from the community, Wright-Way Rescue finally found its forever home and will be moving to Morton Grove in the spring.
Wright-Way plans to start renovations on the 13,000 square-foot warehouse immediately, but they are in desperate need of donations to complete necessary renovations to meet the needs of our shelter. The difficult journey is not over, and we need your help. Please consider making a donation to Wright-Way Rescue today.
Wright-Way Rescue works with rural animal control facilities to provide animals with what is often times their only chance of finding a loving home. Your participation in Team Wright-Way will help us continue to reduce the number of homeless, adoptable pets that are euthanized in the Midwest each year and save even more animals than before. We can’t do it without YOU! We hope you will join us to run for Wright-Way in this year’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a shelter medicine outreach program.
