Hello, potential supporters of Wright-Way Rescue!
If you know me personally, you also know that I get kind of stupid when I talk about Ellie and Jonah, whose pictures are around here somewhere. They were born downstate to a farm dog or stray, were cared for by some wonderful pet-loving people for eight weeks, and came into our family to help us with our no-teethmarks-on-the-furniture problem. Since then they've taught me just how far my patience will stretch (much farther than my hamstrings will) without permanent damage, that the guys who make dog beds pack a truly amazing amount of stuffing into them, and that two puppies bring much, much more than twice the chaos, destruction, and awesomeness than one puppy.
A year after we adopted them, Wright-Way's facility was pretty much demolished by a losing confrontation with a school bus. Since then the shelter's staff and volunteers have worked their, ahem, tails off continuing to place animals while they found and renovated a new location in Morton Grove, IL. Your contribution will help them recover from this setback and get them on sound financial footing so they can keep doing what they do best, which is matching wonderful four-leggers with wonderful two-leggers. I hope you'll cough up some dough to help them out.

Wright-Way Rescue works with rural animal control facilities to provide animals with what is often times their only chance of finding a loving home. Your participation in Team Wright-Way will help us continue to reduce the number of homeless, adoptable pets that are euthanized in the Midwest each year and save even more animals than before. We can’t do it without YOU! We hope you will join us to run for Wright-Way in this year’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a shelter medicine outreach program.
