THE STORY:

It's that time of the year when all the new technology is coming out, and you're fingering your credit card with an extra twitch. Let's face it... in the next few month that twitch will probably turn into a buy. So what to do with those super old tablets, laptops, tvs, and smartphones? You may be tempted to sell last years schwag for the newest schwag, but you probably have some items that aren't worth very much and might even have stuck around out of sheer sentimental attachment but are now so outdated you couldn't imagine anyone needing it. Do you scrap it? Continue to hold onto it and let it take up space? OR SHOULD YOU DONATE IT? The last thing I said was the right answer, btw.

Imagine, being older and needing care around d the clock. Your days of going anywhere and doing whatever you want are behind you. Your access to the outside world is limited, and you live for the most part in a tiny room. Wouldn't the ability to read books on kindle, use the Internet to contact loved ones and see your grand kids grow daily appeal to you? Of course it does. We love our technology because it keeps us connected to the whole world.

So, instead of trying to hock your of kindle fire for $30 on Ebay, consider donating it instead. It'll be worth much more this way anyhow.

I am trying to collect unwanted devices to provide a mass donation to West Valley Convalescent Hospital, whom would benefit from such an arrangement.

Then when the time comes to buy your ridiculously awesome new device, you can rest assured the old devices are out there somewhere... making a difference.

Any device can be mailed directly to:

West Hills Convalescent Hospital

7057 Shoup Ave, West Hills, California 91307

If you have trust issues like me.

Or email me at xoloveaugust@gmail.com if you'd like to send them to me for prep and personal delivery.

Or, you can donate and the money will go to buying up quality devices such as nook hds, old fires, nexus 7, and anything in good working order (no one wants your shattered Epic 4g).

This campaign will close Nov 1st.

Part with the hoarder within and donate those old devices.

Let's make someone's day.
