Teen Homelessness
Organized by: Anny Ali
THE STORY:
Today, there are teens in the Bronx who suffer everyday they step foot in their homes. Some teens like me for instance are locked out from their home left to sleep under the steps. Sometimes they sneak back inside only to be verbally abused. I am a straight A student who attends high school. I am in need of a phone because I want to be able to contact people for important situations, I personally have never gotten a phone and I would like to get money to buy one. I really want a Job, but I am an immigrant who has been denied to receive their papers to become a citizen. I want to go to college and become a cardiologist with the will to save the lives of others and give back to the community. I hope I get to buy that phone. Thank you for reading.
