BENEFITING: CAMP SUNSHINE AT SEBAGO LAKE
EVENT DATE: Oct 11, 2014
Gary “2E” Nealey
July 6, 1983 – May 26, 2010
Gary was raised in Gorham, Maine by his parents, Gary and Angela Nealey. He enjoyed nothing more than time with his family, especially when his sister Chrissy and brother Jay were home. He was a devoted family member, and someone anyone would be proud, and lucky enough, to call a friend.
In December 2009, Gary was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a cancer that starts inside bone marrow. It is the most common form of leukemia among adults, although rare for a person his age. After a courageous six month battle, his disease proved too great. Gary was ultimately taken from us in May 2010. Through all of this he showed an incredible strength and will to live, and his memory will forever motivate those who had the privilege to know him.
