BENEFITING: Invisible Children
THE STORY:
The Invisible Children Club of Vanderbilt University will be inviting the Invisible Children road tour to Vanderbilt on April 12th to speak to the students about the longest running tragedy in the African continent. $1500 is needed to pay for a giant outdoor screen on which to show the film and any additional funds will be donated directly to the cause.
To end the torment that these child soldiers are going through, please donate today.
In Africa's longest running war, Joseph Kony and his LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) have been tormenting the people of Uganda. They have abducted over 60,000 children and horribly brutalized them, forcing them to become child soldiers and commit terrible acts including killing their own parents. Help save these children. These children have already had to go through more than most Americans will in their entire lifetime. Donate today and help us find these children and save them. Your money goes to building schools and rehabiliation centers with therapy so these children can express their traumas and move on to a healthier and happier childhood. Open up your heart a little today for a child, although you may never meet him, he still needs your love and your help.
